INTRODUCING: RILEY'S RIDE SCHOOL BUS SAFETY MODIFICATION

The mission is simple: to install the same safety systems currently avialable in commercial jet aircraft in our nation's school buses {and military buses} creating jobs to put America back to work! This site is designed to educate, inform, generate sponsors, funding, and interest in manifesting a prototype for installation and reproduction in all school and military buses "GOING GREEN" in the process.
Among the major school bus manufacturers, only one has a similar restraint system. NAPTA, however, does not endorse the shoulder/lap restraint system in use in our private vehicles. Young children's skeleton structure is too soft for such devices to be safe or effective.
When I was in school I rode the bus...my daughters rode the bus...now my grandsons are riding the bus to school. For three generations there have been no safety systems in our school buses, yet we are not allowed to take our children home from the hospital after their birth without the proper safety seat installed correctly! When driving our personal vehicles, we and our passenters are ticketed for not wearing seat belts!!
Most school buses used today have no 5-point quick release safety harnesses, overhead bins for gear stowage, emergency lighting or fire protection systems. My safety modification, RILEY'S RIDE {patent pending} is a simple modification of identical safety systems currently installed in commercial jets. This modification is a simple conversion easily installed in as-built buses.

Using identical 5-point quick release safety harnesses identical to safety harnesses currently installed in pilot, co-pilot seats, and NASCAR racing vehicles, we can generate a thriving American economy while insuring our children's and driver's safety instead of tragic losses due to shoulder harnesses which do not release upon impact trapping passengers instead!
Floor mounted easily removable seats combined with removable cargo nets for away Band, Choir, and Sports events when passengers and cargo must occupy the same area.
Fire protection systems and emergency lighting systems...all currently avialable in commercial jets.
